Michel R. Labelle B.Soc.Sc., LL.B.
Born and raised in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Michel graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1989 with a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a concentration in Criminology. He then obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) with honors in 1992 from that same institution. Michel has worked for the Department of Justice and the R.C.M.P. External Review Committee as a summer student and articled with the law firm of Brennan, Tunney & Emond in Ottawa. He has been associated with this firm since 1994 and a Partner since 1997. Michel practices mostly in the areas of Criminal and Civil litigation together with Estates and Real Estate matters. He is a member of the Cochrane Law Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the AAssociation des Juristes D`Expression Francaise de l`Ontario.
